FDC of the Hawaii overprint
issues (Scott 647-648) in combination on a legal size penalty cover
from the PO Department Division of stamps, addressed to East Cleveland
OH, some pencil markings at lower left, overfrank of airmail
rate. Unfortunately the 2 cent stamp has been damaged (upper left
corner).

Nice combination of #210 and
#211 (the 2 cent red brown and the 4 cent blue green banknotes) on a
legal size penalty imprint cover. Imprint is crossed out, stamps
applied because the item was on personal, not government, business;
triple rate. Indistinct CDS, probably MO based on
docketing. Apparently carried depositions (with docketing to that
effect and with court address). Some roughness at right and at
upper left, though toning at right isn't as bad as scan shows.
Scarce combination.

Gone postal? M.O. Business
penalty envelope, legal size, from Boston with 1898 flag ancel to
Greenville, New Hampshire. The Greenville PM struck the cover 8
times with his receiver -- and then for good measure 11 more times on
the reverse! A few wrinklikes and markings from what may have
been rubber bands, but a most interesting item nonetheless.

Scarce 1905 Muskogee, Indian
Territory doremus machine with "Ind. T." abbreviation, used only in
1905 and possibly early 1906, on a United States Indian Service penalty
cover, to Okmulgee, with backstamp. Rough condition, with
reduction at right, edge wear and toning, but a scarce machine cancel.
