CANADA:  1927 College of Wooster Bulletin, a newsletter, mailed from Wooster to Canada, with a 2 cent 4th-bureau coil.  The bulletin was entered in the US as second-class mail.  Although the first-class rate was 2 cents to Canada in 1927, it is also possible that this is indeed 2nd class to Canada.  Either way, still a very interesting usage.

FRANCE:  1872 Upper Sandusky OH to Paris, France with 10 cent 1861 issue (Scott #68), various additional postmarks -- all on the face of the cover -- including a New York credit marking, two French markings, a London transit, and a forwarder's marking.  No backstamps, backflap removed and small bite at top from that removal.

GERMANY:  April 1899, pair of 5 cent Trans-Mississippi (#288) pay double UPU rate from Worcester MA to Germany.  Left stamp is SE at left, Worcester flag cancel.  "We hold a vaster emire than has been" written on the back flap; also a German receiver and a New York Barry machine marking as a transit.

SYRIA:  Humphreyville CT (New Haven Cty., 1812-1855, Helbock rarity 5), stampless from 1851, mailed to London via Southampton, then apparently remailed via French mails to BEIRUT SYRIA, with Calais marking.  Second London marking on reverse but no indication of arrival at Beirut.  paid 24 cents at upper left covered postage to England; endorsement at upper right is a name and address to which the letter was sent care of.  He apparently remailed to the original addressee, and added the via Marseilles and French Packet endorsement; 13 decimes postage due on receipt.  Contents are a personal letter between sisters.  Some staining but a beautiful, rare usage.  Good luck finding another one!
