Boston involute flag, Langford
#3 (P-43, dial 2), October 3, 1896. In use just 5 weeks, a bit
light across the top of the stars and dial, but an uncommon involute
flag. Some tearing to backflap.

Gone postal? M.O. Business
penalty envelope, legal size, from Boston with 1898 flag cancel to
Greenville, New Hampshire. The Greenville PM struck the cover 8
times with his receiver -- and then for good measure 11 more times on
the reverse! A few wrinklikes and markings from what may have
been rubber bands, but a most interesting item nonetheless.
